The LA CLAVE de Oaxaca 2020 Institute is designed for both teacher and administrator participants to understand and incorporate language and culture focused curricular components into units that build on the linguistic, cultural and cognitive assets of multicultural learners, all within the context of social justice.

The Colloquium, organized by the Loyola Marymount University School of Education, Los Angeles, California, with the support of the Department of Culture of the City of Soria, welcomes professionals, college students, and any individual interested in the impact of language, culture, and identity on our lives.
NMCEL is an association that represents school administrators in New Mexico. The governing board has representatives from 18 affiliates. Overall there are approximately 1500 individual members of NMCEL. It’s the organization that has a representative who attends meetings of legislative interim committees, and agency meetings affecting education. NMCEL represents administrators during the entire legislative session. NMCEL conducts seminars, conferences and provides professional development in concert with other educational entities.

It provides an opportunity for colleagues to share their successes from this past spring and to network and collaborate as we move forward during this new reality.
