Richard Gutierrez is a native New Mexican with roots in Cuba/La Jara N.M. Richard is an up and coming young New Mexico artist, recently launching his business – Synchronicity Art. By offering his palette of colors and his fusion of abstract and realistic art, the process becomes a collaborative effort between the customer and the artist, bringing to life an image that only existed in the mind’s eye of his customer. His mediums include oil, acrylic, photography and metal work.
Richard was the featured poster artist for the Alliance for Multilingual Multicultural Education (AMME) inaugural conference in 2010 and the annual New Mexico Association for Bilingual Education (NMABE) in 2011. He is currently working with Supernaldarkness.com http://www.supernaldarkness.com/ and on several pieces of art that are being created for an upcoming film that will raise awareness on child abuse. The pieces will be displayed for a silent auction and a portion of the proceeds will go to Youth in Transition.
