    Dual Language Education of New Mexico promotes the effective design and implementation of dual language models as defined in New Mexico Best Practices for Dual Language Program's Handbook. We strive to promote the effective design and implementation of dual language programs in New Mexico by:

    • Researching and developing appropriate standards or best practices for program design and implementation.
    • Providing on-going support to teachers, administrators, state agencies, districts and communities striving to meet these standards, and;
    • Educating the educational, business and political communities as to the effectiveness of these programs.
